the red man blows

It looks too far the red man blows
Down a wind tunnel of good sweet lovin'
Fluctuating lovin'
Temptation draws me crazy drives me nearer to the pinnacle
Each centimeter toward the point of destruction
A twist of fate
A twisted fate
I walk into your arms
My mind has me warped
Tangled but I know you cannot tell
When you look upon me
I wonder when you feel free
I wonder where your heart lies
Perhaps in all sorts of questions we've been dissuaded to ask
Where is our true heart
What's buried beneath the heaping cinder
Piled away in the corner
Tempted to touch the dusty remnants of a whole life built in minutes
Then burned to the ground
With what could've been
