Sit by trees
Listen through your branches
of leaf laden locks
Vibrate your eardrums to the wiggle rhythm of wind blown leaves
Let sap trickle into a whirling puddle of soul
Thickening your batter to the consistency
of shlow shlooping shlop
Plant your nostrils on knotty elephant trunks
Catch the wind as it whispers its last word
Allow trickling roots to tickle your toe tips
Bind tip to toe until your knees quiver with the force of withstanding wooden giants
Let pieces of sky through speckled leaflings,
Let negative space
Paint you a picture
Of God
Hearing chirps from afar
Twinkle your universe
With tits and tats of harmonious trills
Open your mouth as wide
As if your tongues are now twisting branches
And your bark,
The insides of your cheeks.
Now,
On the outside
Your heart beats deep when the earth trembles,
When water falls from the sky,
When fires burn near
Letting every fallen leaf be a new layer of forest floor
Your mind,
Is every feeling fungus
And every stealthy spider
Its every creature that inhabits
Your outward
Bending
Brain
Branches
Eternal
Re
Generation
Waking
With rising shining suns of renewed day
Holding on
To let go
To fall into the soil void
Melting masks
Melding into existence
Weighing out your options
To compost for the nourishment of all that is
